What is the Bio-Remediation?

Is a process that accelerates oil and hydrocarbons degradation on soil by increasing its bacterial activity. This remediation technique is ideal for underground contention pits on gas stations.

How does it work?

Futuris manufactures a product to reach a chemical balance that stimulate the increasing of bacteria able to consume the hydrocarbons on soil. Along with the application of the product, soil or water samples are taken periodically to evaluate the hydrocarbons concentration decrease.

Which are the advantages of Bio-Remediation for Gas Stations?

  • Both the product application and the water sapling can be made through the monitoring wells of the underground pit, for which breaking the concrete cover is no required.
